growth spurt alert

I find myself relying on seasonal signals to trigger my growth spurts. The different seasons are obvious here in southwestern Germany. We have snow-capped-mountain winters, crazy-lush springtimes, hot summers, and colourful autumns. Winter’s cold briskness and indoor coziness deepen my thoughts and help me grapple with big issues. Summer’s sunlight and greenness call me to explore outward.

Perhaps because autumn is the season for going back to school and the window at my desk looks out on a big schoolyard, I’ve been inspired to study what I’m doing and make some evolutionary changes to my business and website. Nothing too radical, but I want to give you a heads-up.

The changes, which have to do with clarifying my focus, will show up gradually over the coming weeks.

My dear brain has taken autumn’s back-to-school message to heart and given me lab work to do (as a lover of homework and school supplies, I’m into it), so I’ll be conducting some well-considered experiments in discovering and deciding about what fits me, my readers, and clients.

Here’s a sampling of some of the shifts:

  • As of today, the price of the healthy boundaries guide (Stay Afloat When They’re Rocking Your Boat) has been reduced to $9.50 €8 EUR, to make it more available to more people (the healthy boundaries guide is a proven stress-reducing tool during holiday family get-togethers).
  • I’ll be introducing an experimenting with a variety of service packages.
  • Some of the main pages will go through focus and name changes.
  • The name of the business and website will likely change to The Writer’s Shepherd.
  • I may do some experimenting with the tagline and other website elements.

If there are things you especially like about this website, or things that bug you and you’d like to see change, please don’t hesitate to let me know (you can leave a comment on this post, or use the form on the contact page for more privacy).

“If we do not change our direction,
we are likely to end up where we are headed.”
